Dance Class

I'm pretty sure that I said something about the extra classes that my kids take during the school day in an earlier post, so I wanted to give you a glimpse into the world of dance class. It's a pretty funny sight! I only wish that I would be here for the grand performance in May to see how things come together for the annual variety show at Hummingbird. Perhaps I'll make a trip back here to see it.  Anyhow, this is what you get when you try to teach twenty 5 year olds how to dance...

It's looks pretty basic but soon turns into disorganized chaos...

I love that Caroline wears grafiti-fied Converse shoes everyday while all the other girls wear dressy black shoes... she's so cute!

The boys were instructed to enter in a "fairy-like run"... who says that to a little boy??? This is the best they could do.

This is my favorite part of the dance... they boys twirl the girls around. It's the cutest thing!

It get's a little confusing here for them, but they're so cute!

Then they skip away...

I crack up during this part every time. The little girl on the left is the only one doing what she's supposed to be doing, although I'm not sure what she's doing exactly... lol

Since they behaved well during the dance, they got to play "duck, duck, goose".

And "Red Light, Green Light".

The rest of the day wasn't overly excitng, but we did take a long walk after taking a short nap after school. We ran into a group of 3 girls who are here from Washington State, so we're hoping to get dinner with them one night this week. We've been running into each other pretty much every morning, but when we saw them this afternoon, we decided to find out a little more about them. It's also kind of funny, because people at the grocery store have asked us if we're the girls from Washington and they've asked them if they're the girls from Georgia. They're here until March so hopefully we get together with them some!
